Shorouq Abu Sakran

They named her Shorouq, “sunrise.” But her world turned dark.
First, she lost her husband while they were walking to the market. “We were shocked to find a tank right in front of us,” she recalls. “A shell was fired and hit my husband directly. I saw him fly into the air, his body torn apart, his remains scattered around me.”
Not long after, she lost her father and brothe,r too.
Later, while displaced with her mother-in-law, an airstrike hit the house. Only Shorouq and her young son survived.
One of her legs was amputated at the ankle. She underwent countless procedures to save the other but in the end, it too was amputated.
Now, even what remains is at risk. A simple medical procedure، a bone graft، could save it. But it’s not available in Gaza.
She needs urgent medical evacuation. With your support, you can help save her leg and her future.
