An Initiative to clean streets and prevent pollution in Northern Gaza
On October 10th, Israeli Airstrikes destroyed the sewage pump in northern Gaza, which led to water contaminated leak to roads, streets and homes. As a result of this accident, disease and pollution spread at high rates in Gaza so as to harmful insects like mosquitoes, all of this badly affected thousands of children and the elderly health.

Health Effect
Pollution-related diseases have increased. Children and the elderly were worst affected by what happened.
Streets Closure
As a result of destroying the sewage pumps, the main road of Jabalia al-Nazla was closed and there was a difficulty in moving due to having a population of 30,000.
Project Goals
Sewage Suction: By using dedicated devices to suction contaminated water from streets and homes.
Street Cleaning: By cleaning the streets to eliminate the pollution and Maintain people's health.
Pollution Prevention: By taking procedures to make sure this will not happen again and assure having a clean and a healthy environment.
